Join us for the inaugural Global Sport University Network Summit – the only global event dedicated to changing the world through sport.
The Global Sport University Network seeks to be the worldwide trusted and respected source of higher-education knowledge, research and policy advice in sport.
The GSUN is a group of universities from around the world that harnesses knowledge on sport to solve timely, complex problems that no one university could fully address on its own. The network connects industry, governing bodies, sport commissions, media and other key stakeholders with researchers, educators and higher education institutions in four key thematic areas:
- Health and Performance
- Inclusivity and Societal Impact
- Innovation
- Sustainability
Council
G-SUN will be governed by a Council of up to ten Higher Education Institutions from around the globe. The Council will be augmented with a number of advisory roles, drawn from outside academia.

The GSUN ’24 Summit will bring together international academic experts from around the globe in sports science, engineering, technology and human performance, sports business, humanities, law, journalism and more with industry, sports leagues and federations, and members of the media for a two-day interactive summit focused on identifying current issues, research and solutions in inclusivity in sport performance.
